Our final muse is the oldest of The Twins and the lead of the Midnight ‘Moir series.

Ariella is the ultimate risk-taker. Many a bad decision has been justified by her motto, “Do it for the story.” What she lacks in courage, she makes up for in self-destructiveness. She is the broken vessel of trauma. She is gravity and weightlessness. She pushes as hard as she pulls. She is self-deprecating, especially about her self-awareness, which she says gifted her keys to invisible doors.

A closed book with a too-open heart, Ariella desires to feel seen, but she’d rather stay an enigma than risk rejection. Though she’d never admit it, she is as confused as she is confusing. As The Mirror Muse, Ariella loves like a pendulum, polarized to swing from one end of attachment to another, whichever way is opposite her lover. She is quick to forgive those who leave, but her passion turns to ice the moment she feels betrayed.

Unlike some of the other muses, she doesn’t believe in soulmates. She is, however, a zealot for hunting ghosts.

I dreamed a tornado tried to destroy our house, 
but we wouldn’t let it in.
